I’ve decided to have a go at doing a ‘photo-a-day’ project this year, with the intention of taking a photo fore each of the 366 days of 2012. I’m aware it’s a bit of an undertaking, and that there’s a high risk of me quietly dropping the endeavour in a week or two, but I think it could be useful as a way of avoiding only taking photos at gigs and maybe to encourage me to photograph things I normally wouldn’t, or try out new techniques, or even just be a little less precious.
I’m also expecting that a lot of the photos will be quick snapshots, or just plain crap. I always have my phone with me, so there are likely to be a few fallback shots of my desk using Hipstamatic.
So that I don’t overwhelm this blog I’ve decided to set up a tumblr for the project, which you can find here. I’ll also put the images on my Flickr and highlight some of the better images on here and on Facebook.
(I’m not taking bets on completing the project).
